UL DQS India (Registered as UL Management Systems Solutions India Pvt Ltd.,) is the Indian subsidiary of DQS Holdings GmBH, which is globally poised to provide comprehensive solutions when it comes to standards in organizations and processes. UL DQS is the result of a global merger between UL MSS and DQS GmbH which materialized in 2008. UL Inc., is an independent product safety certification organization that has been testing products and writing standards for safety for more than a century. UL evaluates more than 19,000 types of products, components, materials and systems annually with 20 billion UL Marks appearing on 66,000 manufacturers' products each year. UL MSS, the erstwhile System Certification arm of UL Inc has issued over 9,000 registrations to management system standards and has performed more than 12,000 assessments in 62 countries.

DQS GmbH is the European counterpart in providing solutions in terms of standards for business processes. DQS, a German Registrar for Management Systems, was founded in 1985 by the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) and the German Society for Quality (DGQ) as the first German registrar for management systems. With offices in more than 30 countries, DQS is one of the most renowned companies in the international certification business today.
